CalSherpa turns the coursework in your Canvas account into work blocks on your Google Calendar, placed around the classes, meetings, and plans that are already there.

How it works

1. A Chrome extension reads your own Canvas. It runs in your browser while you're signed in to your school's Canvas and reads your courses, assignments, pages, announcements, and linked files (file names and details) the same way the Canvas website does. It never sees your university password and never asks you for a Canvas access token.
2. CalSherpa finds what you have to do. It pulls out deadlines and tasks from your courses and skips work Canvas shows you've already submitted.
3. It schedules the work on your Google Calendar. CalSherpa reads your calendar to find free time and adds work blocks before each deadline. It only changes events it created; your own events are never edited or deleted.

College students whose school uses Canvas. CalSherpa currently supports UNC Chapel Hill's Canvas.
